“ This store has been on my "want to visit" list for a long time, and today I finally went! We arrived a little after 3 PM, and there were no other customers. This place really doesn't look like a restaurant; it looks more like a handmade fabric shop combined with someone's home. While we were sitting inside, we saw many passersby who stared at the shop and the menu for a long time but didn't dare to come in. ⏳ A cute dog was lying on the sofa taking a nap, sunlight was streaming in, light-coloured fabrics were stacked against the walls, and the large wooden dining table was adorned with candles dripping with wax. The wind chimes in the yard were jingling, and the early summer jasmine flowers were in full bloom. Here, it feels like time slows down. You can sit and eat with friends and have a good chat. The pizza crust was thin and crispy, topped with plenty of ingredients. They've recently updated the menu, and every item looks delicious. After eating, the owner chatted with us about his story. They've been interviewed by some media, but only true food lovers come here. Most people passing by would never guess it's a restaurant inside. We all loved the garden in the store. The owner said the furniture, decorations, and plants in the garden were all found while walking their dog. These plants were discarded in the rubbish, but the owner and his wife brought them back, and took good care of them, and now they decorate the garden, looking vibrant and healthy. There are many hidden gems in East London. If you explore with an open heart and chat with the shop owners, you can encounter many interesting people and stories. ”

“ Definitely a unique and very rustic experience - it does feel like I’m in someone’s living room, or an old tavern of some sort, although that may be precisely the intention! Not sure the decor etc. is totally for me, but I’m still giving 5 stars for the pizza, which was surprisingly good. The crust had a lovely delicate flavour, and the toppings harmonised really well. 5 stars also for the two members of staff (owners?) of the restaurant, who were clearly working very hard. The entrance is a bit unassuming, so it might feel like you’ve got the wrong place when you first enter! ”

“ Very cute puppy and her mother. Grandpa and grandma are very unique artists. This place is like their living room, with their works everywhere. Even more amazing than the pizza is the lemon cake, which is the best lemon cake I have ever eaten. ”

“ Such a unique experience in a quirky, crafty place. It felt like you were at a dining room of a country cottage, where vintage, handmade items were dotted around the space in poetic randomness. The owners were hospitable and friendly, the food was organic, beautiful, fresh and tasty, and the beagle was a plus. Even the leftover was packed like a gift. We were lucky to be the only guests for the whole evening. Will 10/10 be back when the fabled tiramisu is back on the menu! ”

“ Absolutely loved the experience, the interior both cozy and artsy filled with scents of both incense and umami from the kitchen, what a combo which elevated the whole experience topped by one of the most incredibly creative pizza dish I’ve ever had and two cute beagles which together makes it a 10/10 dinner night with my friend. ”
